The Indian podcasting giant GiverSpots has partnered with the premium podcasting service Tivimate Premium to launch a new platform.
In a press release, Giver Spot stated that they are excited to bring a new format and content to indian podcasting.
“The partnership with Tivate is a new and exciting opportunity for us to help the Indian podcast community grow and evolve,” said Giver founder and CEO Prashant Chawla.
“The team at Tivide, together with our friends at Tivo, will work on bringing the best podcasts from India to Tivocate and beyond.”
The company added that the podcasting platform will bring “love and value” to the podcast community, which is comprised of over 500,000 podcast users across 25 languages.
The platform is expected to be launched in the next 12 months.
GiverSpot launched its podcasting services in 2016 with the goal of building an ecosystem for the online listening experience.
According to the company, over 300,000 podcasts are available to users across 190 countries.
“There is a need to create a curated content that helps the listeners get connected with each other and engage with the podcast audience,” the company stated.
