TESLA Premium Connectivity is a new product from the US-based electric carmaker Tesla.
TESLA Connectivity offers its drivers more convenience and better battery life through its premium fuel-cell technology, with its first model, the Tesla Model S, arriving on the market later this year.
The latest addition to Tesla’s portfolio of premium technology offerings, the TESL-1, offers a host of improvements in terms of driver experience and safety, with the latest update adding the ability to connect to TESOL, Tesla’s secure cloud-based storage service.
As part of its introduction to Tesla Connectivity, Tesla also unveiled a suite of new premium accessories, including the Tesla Autopilot 2, an enhanced version of the Autopark technology that was introduced earlier this year, as well as the Tesla Connections Wireless Charging Station.
The TESlabs premium connectivity offering, which is the result of Tesla’s extensive testing of its Model S and Model X cars, allows the vehicle to drive in the US at a lower speed than the standard Model S. The car has a 0-60 time of 2.6 seconds, and the Tesla Roadster is able to accelerate from 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds.
Tesla Connectives technology is based on the Tesla-developed Autoparks technology, which was introduced last year to Tesla vehicles.
The new technology enables the driver to maintain control of the car in traffic, without needing to pull out of the lane to check the status of the vehicle, and to use the road and other navigation systems without losing control.
Tesla’s Autoparts system is a complete set of safety features and assistive technologies, which are part of the Model S’ suite of safety technologies.
Tesla has said that the Autoptics technology will allow the Model X to drive up to 50 miles (80 kilometers) without needing a human to maintain the vehicle.
The Autopart feature allows the Model-S to drive as far as 100 miles (150 kilometers) with a human on board, without any assistance.
Tesla also announced that it has signed a new partnership with Google and Apple to allow consumers to download and use its new Android Auto app for free.
Tesla also announced plans to launch an app that can track car speed, braking and acceleration, and it is now working with Audi, BMW and other manufacturers to allow their customers to download the app to access the vehicle’s advanced safety features.TESLabs Premium Connectivities is currently available in the United States and Canada, but Tesla is working on expanding its availability to other countries.
