The first of the new Superchargers is expected to be operational later this month, making Tesla’s electric cars even more accessible to commuters.
The system, designed to provide 100 percent of the vehicle’s battery, was built by the Chinese company Tesla’s Gigafactory in Nevada.
While it’s not the world’s first or most powerful Supercharging station, it’s the most efficient, allowing cars to go from 0-60mph in less than five seconds, according to a video published by the company.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been touting the system’s efficiency for some time, but he didn’t reveal exactly how much power it provides until now.
While the company hasn’t provided detailed data on the system, it says it’s capable of charging a battery at “10-100 percent capacity,” with an expected “average capacity of 1,100 miles per day.”
That means that the system can get you from Los Angeles to San Francisco in about seven minutes, as long as you keep a regular schedule and don’t drive alone.
The Supercharges were first announced at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, but Tesla hasn’t shared details on how many Supercharg-equipped cars will be installed during the year, and the company has said that it will likely be more limited during the summer months.
The company has also announced that the first 50,000 vehicles sold in 2017 will have an internal battery pack that can handle 400 miles per hour.
It’s likely that a much larger number of the cars that get sold will have the same internal capacity, meaning that you won’t need to worry about getting your car to 100 percent before the end of the year.
But it’s also likely that the vehicles that don’t have an external battery pack will be significantly less efficient.
The video above shows the system in action in Los Angeles, but the system is far more powerful than the Tesla Model S, the company’s top-of-the-line sedan, which only has a 120 kWh battery.
The average speed of a Tesla Model X has a top speed of 208 mph.

While we don’t yet know how the system works, it will certainly be the most capable Superchargering system in the world, allowing Tesla to take advantage of the huge amounts of electricity it has available.
As the company works on the Superchargator system, Tesla has released a few videos to promote the system.
One is called “Supercharging 101,” and it features an interview with Elon Musk.
Musk says that he’s excited about the system and hopes that it becomes “a true driver’s choice.”
Tesla’s “supercharger” is capable of filling up a Model X with 200 miles of range in just eight minutes, and it’s been said that the SuperCharger can also fill a Tesla’s Supercharged range to a max of 500 miles.
The Tesla Model 3 has a 240 kWh battery, which can recharge a Tesla in less time than an hour.
