Audi has said it will start a podcasting service next year and it has hired the veteran podcasting company Audible to help build the platform.
Audible, which has a history of building high-quality podcasts in the US and Europe, said it would use the Audible platform to publish audio and video content in English and German.
Audibly is the latest startup to try to make the podcasting world a little more accessible.
In 2016, a startup called Audible Podcasts made the transition to the podcast as a business model, but it has since struggled to establish a strong audience and has had to rely on a small team of freelancers to produce its own content.
The Audible team, which was formed in 2012, is currently led by CEO and co-founder Jodi Atencio.
They said they had started building a new team of employees, but that it had been a challenging transition for the company, which had struggled to grow the audience and retain people.
They said that the Audibly team wanted to create a platform that would enable listeners to listen to podcasts without having to buy the podcast itself, so that the company could continue to make podcasts.
They have also said that they will be looking for a global team of writers to help them grow their team and to ensure they continue to deliver the highest quality podcasts.
Audibles first podcast was published in January 2017.
The company has also recently launched its first podcasting app, Audible Radio, and plans to open a podcast hub on its site, Audibles.com.
It is a welcome addition to the market, as podcasts have been a niche market for decades.
Audible, based in Brooklyn, New York, is owned by the BBC.
Audibles latest podcast has also been praised by US radio station WWJ.
Audiences in the UK are also likely to love the new app, as they are among the most loyal listeners of podcasts.
“Audible Radio was a huge success, so we’re very excited to be expanding the Audibles platform,” Audible CEO and founder Jodi Tarnopolsky said in a statement.
“Our podcasting audience is the largest of any media in the world, and Audible’s listeners are growing at an astonishing rate.”
We’re also delighted to be partnering with one of the world’s leading publishers, Audibly, to launch our podcasting subscription service, Audios.com, in the United States, Europe and the rest of the developed world next year.
“With the right mix of content, a loyal audience and a strong team, we believe Audibles podcasting will be the new standard for the podcast industry.”
Our new podcast platform will be fully-funded by Audible and will launch in 2017.
“In its statement, Audibies said that it was investing in its podcasting team and would continue to focus on the company’s core business of producing audiobooks.
